Meet Jamie Hatfield
I am a person in long term recovery from substance use disorder, and my journey has become the foundation for a life dedicated to service, advocacy, and change. After experiencing the realities of addiction firsthand, I committed to my own healing - and now, I help others do the same.I currently serve as the Community Engagement Supervisor at Crossroads of Southern Nevada, where I work to build bridges between treatment services, the recovery community, and those still struggling. I also work as a Case Manager of the Freedom Program at Shine A Light, supporting individuals in reclaiming their lives with dignity, purpose, and connection. In addition to my direct service work, I'm proud to be a member of the Recovery Advocacy Project here in Nevada, where I help shape recovery-positive policy and fight for the rights and representation of people impacted by substance use.One of my proudest moments was being the first female formally incarcerated inmate allowed back into the Nevada Department of Corrections women's facility, breaking barriers and sharing my story to inspire others.Through every role I hold, I remain committed to breaking stigma, empowering individuals, and showing the world that recovery is not only possible- it's transformative.
